Dedham Vale Network

Members of the Dedham Vale Network at the LaunchThe Dedham Vale Network was set up four years ago to provide a wide range of complementary disciplines serving the Dedham Vale and surrounding areas.

Members of the public, when seeking complementary health support, do not necessarily know where to turn in order to find the help they require and it can be hard to find out whether practitioners are properly qualified and experienced.

Dedham Vale Network brings together a group of highly qualified and properly regulated professionals under one banner.  This not only gives the public confidence but also means that a range of services are available in one place, making it easier choose and combine therapies.

Being under one roof at Dedham Vale Community Health Centre now gives a focal point for both practitioners and the local community.

There will be three regular practitioners at the Centre.

Liz Kotarska FRICS DABCH MCAHyp TFT(Dx) will offer Hypnotherapy, Hypnohealing, Thought Field Therapy and a Wellness Consultancy.  Whilst able to help with a wide range of problems Liz finds that much of her work is related to slimming, stress, anxiety issues and fatigue. The therapies offered are very much about helping the client discover their own, often hidden, resources to bring about beneficial change.

Andrew Stewart MRSS, who will also continue his work at the Constable Country Medical Practice and at Raydon, will offer Shiatsu. Based on the same principles as acupuncture, this hands on, fully clothed body therapy involves applying pressure to specific points and using stretches and rotations to relieve symptoms as diverse as bad backs, shoulders and joints to lack of energy, stress and sleeplessness.

Arlene Lyne, the group’s Homeopath will be working at the Dedham Health Centre.

The remaining members of the network, Hypnotherapist Hugh Clover, Marion Gill and Counsellor Amanda Portway will continue to practice at their current clinics, although referrals can now also be made via the new centre.
