Dedham Vale Community Health Centre

Roman Place, Manningtree Road, Dedham CO7 6DU

Opening Date Announced

GP surgeries are set to commence on Thursday 2nd July 2009 with the first patients expected to be seen in the morning session. At 1330 on the same day the Directors of DVCHA are inviting local supporters and others to come along and share the occasion.

The building was completed more than two years earlier but it was not until the early part of 2009 that a breakthrough occurred when Ardleigh Practice, who were receiving a number of transfers from the East Bergholt  based Constable Country Medical Practice, realised that extra space was required. After visiting the premises in Dedham the doctors all agreed they would proceed with an application to use the premises for part-time surgeries and thus give all their patients the benefit of the alternative premises.

This was excellent news for the Dedham patients of the Ardleigh Practice as they would be able to gain much better accessibility, in many cases the opportunity to walk to the central Dedham branch surgery.

The sessions at commencement will be on Tuesday mornings, Wednesday afternoons, Thursday mornings and Friday mornings. Alongside the doctors the already established Dedham Vale Network, a grouping of complementary medicine practitioners, will be offering their expertise to clients at other times.
